Roger S. Blackstock
Founder and Managing Partner

It is rare when a single individual’s outstanding achievements are recognized in parallel careers, both as
corporate executive leader and distinguished military commander. Roger Blackstock leads, speaks and teaches
from his experience as a successful corporate executive, in world-class companies such as Eastman Kodak and
as United States Army Green Beret Officer and Jump Master, retiring at the rank of Colonel in 2001 after 30
years of both active and reserve service. Unlike some who simply “talk leadership,” Roger has been there and
is the passionate expression of dedicated expertise.

Roger helps organizations to realize the full potential of their most valuable asset - their people. His skills
as a senior-level business leader and adviser enabled him to lead sales teams to top national recognition honors.
As a battalion commander and then later as a brigade commander, his visionary leadership ignited changes that
reversed the reputation and readiness of these organizations from bottom tier units to top performing commands.
Through his unique ability to quickly discern organizational culture and alignment issues and his understanding
of leadership, vision, values, and goals, Roger helps companies create dynamic cultures and stellar reputations
that drive organizational results for competitive advantage. Roger is also a certified instructor for Herrmann
International’s (HBDI) Whole Brain Thinking Programs and Connexus Solutions Organizational Culture and Emotional
Intelligence Assessments.
Roger holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Presbyterian College and is a graduate of the U.S. Army Officers’
Advanced Course, the U.S. Army Command & General Staff College, the U.S. Army War College, and is a recipient
of the United States Army’s Legion of Merit.
In his community Roger is very active as a servant leader. He is an ordained deacon and member of Parkway
Presbyterian Church. Within his church, Roger founded Parkway Business Network, which assists individuals in job
transition. In this volunteer role, Roger has instructed and coached hundreds of individuals to better understand
themselves and gain the confidence to successfully plan their job search to secure new job opportunities. He is an
Adult Leader for Boy Scout Troop 39, and serves as a Unit Commissioner for the Etowah District, Boy Scouts of
America. Roger is also a member of the Reserve Officers Association, the American Society for Training and
Development, and an Associate Member of the National Speakers’ Association of Georgia.
