Peer Synergy Group provides accurate unbiased assessments of an organization's culture and facilitates executive review sessions to share results, discuss alignment issues and corrective action measures. We then develop a strategic roadmap for follow-on training in conjunction with various organizational development activities.
Group culture is created and maintained by the underlying emotionality of a group. Thus, the term "emotional intelligence" or organizational EQ is the measure of an organization's capacity to recognize and regulate their collective emotionality. Organizations with high performing groups regulate negative emotions and operate in a climate where members are dedicated to common goals, to one another, and to the organization.
All of our assessments are performed via user-friendly, web-based tools that measure an organization's culture and receptiveness to change. These assessments provide an objective evaluation of the current group emotional intelligence, which describes the culture of the organization. The following is a brief synopsis of these assessment tools.
Organizational Emotional Intelligence Profile (OEIP)™
The OEIP measures an organization's emotional intelligence (EQ). Emotions create the underlying foundation for organizational culture and are manifested in distinct patterns of behavior. Organizational EQ falls into one of five categories, (listed from least effective to most effective): Detached, Defensive, Dependent, Dramatic, and Dynamic.
Readiness to Change Profile (RTCP)™
The RTCP measures an organization's attitude towards change. The RTCP is founded on research based upon social and behavioral sciences, and provides invaluable insight into the organization's "readiness" for change, consisting of the following five dimensions, (listed from least effective to most effective): Deny, Resist, Explore, Support, and Create.
Leadership Emotional Intelligence Profile (LEIP)™
The LEIP provides an individual assessment of one's leadership EQ level, and is designed to complement the OEIP. LEIP is research based upon both the social and management sciences, and is designed to assess leadership abilities along two distinct dimensions: Style and EQ. The "Style" dimensions profile one's preferred method of leadership along the following continuum: Convener, Counselor, Coordinator, Challenger, and Coach. It should be noted that these styles correspond directly to the levels of culture identified by the OEIP. When utilized with the OEIP, the LEIP provides a powerful coaching tool for the continued growth and development of one's leadership abilities because it measures an individual's strengths and developmental opportunities related to EQ in the following areas: Self-Awareness, Self-Management, Social Awareness, and Relationship Management.
Organizational Orientation Inventory (OOI)™
The OOI measures the climate of innovation and orientation of the organization by looking at the organization’s overall orientation to the environment and to itself.
